Waffles are easy to make, like pancakes, but they need one extra step to work best (folding in the egg whites). This time of the year, waffles are fantastic served with fresh berries and maple syrup. I have been using an old Cuisinart waffle maker (a gift from a friend over 15 years ago). It still works well after all these years.
